Video Editor
About This Role
A Video Editor is responsible for taking raw video footage and turning it into a finished, polished video that tells a clear and engaging story. This role is common in film, television, marketing, social media, and corporate content production.
Main Responsibilities
A Video Editor typically:
- Reviews and organizes raw footage from cameras or other sources
- Cuts, trims, and arranges clips to create a smooth storyline
- Adds transitions, effects, text, and motion graphics
- Syncs video with audio, music, and voiceovers
- Enhances video quality (color correction, lighting adjustments, stabilization)
- Works with directors, content creators, or clients to match the desired style and message
- Exports videos in formats suitable for platforms like YouTube, TikTok, TV, or ads
Skills Required
- Proficiency in editing software (such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve)
- Strong sense of timing, pacing, and storytelling
- Basic understanding of sound design and color grading
- Creativity and attention to detail
- Ability to work under deadlines and handle feedback
Pay: QAR100,000.00 - QAR190,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
