Vice President, Procurement

Experience

• 10+ years of progressive experience in procurement, negotiation and vendor relationship management.
• Significant experience with infrastructure construction, ideally data centre specifically.
• Education/Certification/Designation
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field considered.
• Skills & Technical Knowledge
• Demonstrated expertise in large-scale construction projects.
• Deep understanding of supply chain trends, risk management, and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to think independently and solve problems
• Collaborative team player; clear and proactive communicator
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Advanced written and verbal skills used to translate complex field data into high-level briefings for executive stakeholders
• Strong planning, organizational, time management skills and superior attention to detail.
• Proven expertise in negotiating with vendors
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Working Conditions
• The role has standard working conditions in an office environment with a regular workweek schedule from Monday to Friday. Due to the nature of the role, the incumbent must be able to meet tight deadlines, handle pressure and manage stress.
