Veterinary Surgical Technician

Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during surgical procedures, preparing and sterilizing equipment and surgical instruments.
- Monitor anesthesia and vital signs of patients before, during, and after surgery.
- Maintain surgical suites and ensure cleanliness and compliance with safety protocols.
- Provide post-operative care and support to patients as directed by the veterinarian.
- Keep accurate medical records related to surgical procedures and patient care.
- Communicate effectively with veterinary staff and pet owners regarding surgical procedures and recovery.
Requirements
- Certification as a Veterinary Surgical Technician is preferred.
- Equivalent hands-on experience in veterinary surgery is acceptable.
- Strong understanding of veterinary surgical practices, anesthesia, and patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and handle stressful situations with professionalism.
