Full-time, on-site Veterinary Nurse role based at the hospital in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Supports veterinarians with clinical care, procedures, surgery, animal monitoring, and client guidance.
Responsibilities
- Prepare animals for examinations and assist with procedures and surgeries.
- Monitor animals before, during, and after treatment; administer medications and manage anesthesia under veterinary supervision.
- Perform basic laboratory tests, maintain records, and keep the clinical environment safe and clean.
- Advise clients on pet care, aftercare instructions, and preventive health.
- Work with the veterinary team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care.
Qualifications
- Strong veterinary nursing, animal care, examination, treatment, and surgical assistance skills.
- Practical anesthesia and laboratory skills, including sample collection and routine testing.
- Relevant veterinary nursing or related diploma or degree, with applicable licensing or registration as required.
- Veterinary clinic or hospital experience is preferred, especially mixed or companion animal practice.
