Role overview
This is a full-time, on-site Veterinary Nurse role in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Responsibilities
- Support veterinarians with medical and surgical care, patient preparation, anesthesia monitoring, and post-operative care.
- Assist with consultations, administer medications and treatments, and perform basic laboratory tests.
- Maintain accurate medical records and provide attentive animal care.
- Give pet owners clear instructions and education.
- Keep clinical areas and equipment clean, organized, and maintained.
- Work with the clinical team to promote patient safety, efficient workflows, and a positive client experience.
Qualifications
- Strong veterinary nursing, animal care, pet care, anesthesia monitoring, and laboratory skills.
- Relevant veterinary nursing qualification or diploma and eligibility to work in the UAE.
- Veterinary clinic or hospital experience; multi-specialty or emergency care experience is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and commitment to animal welfare.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and follow clinical protocols.
