Role overview
Experienced veterinary nurse role at a veterinary clinic in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Key responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and surgeries.
- Perform injections, wound care, sample collection, and basic procedures.
- Monitor hospitalized pets and ensure their comfort and safety.
- Guide pet owners on post-treatment care and medications.
- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in all treatment areas.
- Assist with anesthesia monitoring under supervision.
- Manage medical records and support inventory control.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a veterinary clinic.
- Diploma or certification in veterinary nursing or animal care is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of animal handling and clinical procedures.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle emergencies.
- Genuine passion for animal welfare.
