About Crysler Animal Hospital & AniMed

For over 40 years, Crysler Animal Hospital has been a trusted name in the Kansas City metro, serving Independence, Raytown, Lee's Summit, and other surrounding communities. As a full-service hospital, Crysler specializes in companion animal and exotic pet care, from wellness exams and vaccinations to advanced diagnostics and surgery, and is equipped with digital and dental radiography, in-house labs, ultrasound, and CO2 laser.

AniMed Animal Hospital, located in Blue Springs, is Crysler's sister hospital and shares the same commitment to compassionate care and client communication. AniMed has built a loyal client base of its own and is growing right alongside Crysler, creating this joint opportunity to add a doctor who can help both practices continue that growth.

Who We're Looking For

We're seeking a veterinarian who enjoys both the medical and surgical sides of practice, with confidence in general procedures such as spay, neuter, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery. Because this role is built around flexibility, we welcome candidates across a range of experience levels and schedule needs, from a doctor seeking a traditional full-time role to one looking for a part-time schedule that fits around other commitments. Strong communication skills, a compassionate approach with clients, and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues are essential.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college
  • Active Missouri veterinary license in good standing (or ability to obtain)
  • Current DEA and MO BNDD License (or ability to obtain)
  • Openness to a flexible schedule (full-time or part-time) across one or both hospital locations
