Full-time, on-site Veterinarian role based in Ajman, United Arab Emirates.
Provide clinical care for companion animals, including examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient follow-up.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and advanced examinations; diagnose illnesses and injuries and develop treatment plans.
- Administer vaccinations, prescribe medications, perform minor and major surgery, and provide emergency and critical care when needed.
- Communicate diagnoses, treatment options, preventive care, and follow-up plans to pet guardians.
- Maintain accurate medical records and collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff.
- Contribute to clinical protocols and help maintain patient-care, safety, and client-service standards.
Qualifications
- Licensed Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or equivalent, eligible to practice in Ajman, United Arab Emirates.
- Proficiency in small-animal clinical medicine, diagnostics, treatment planning, and case management.
- Competence in routine surgery and dentistry, with skills in anesthesia and pain management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to manage emergency cases, prioritize, and remain calm under pressure.
- Commitment to ethical, evidence-based practice and professional development. Experience in general practice or a companion-animal clinic is preferred.
- Comfort using veterinary practice management systems and digital medical records.
