About This Role
Key Responsibilities
- Greet clients and their pets with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and schedule appointments.
- Process patient check-ins and check-outs, including collecting payment and issuing invoices.
- Maintain client and pet records, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information in the clinic's database.
- Assist with maintaining a clean and organized reception area.
- Provide clients with detailed information about services, treatments, and medication.
- Manage appointment schedules for multiple veterinarians.
- Handle and direct emergency cases as needed.
- Assist the veterinary team with administrative tasks and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Can speak both English and Arabic
- Preferably living in International City or willing to commute.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in veterinary office management is a plus.
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role, preferably in a veterinary or healthcare setting.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and maintain a calm demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for animals and empathy for pet owners.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software systems.
- Ability to handle sensitive or emotional situations with care and professionalism.
- Experience with scheduling software or medical record systems is a plus.
