Versatile Content Writer

Role Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Write researched theses, dissertations, and assignments for diverse subjects and academic levels.
• Write and optimize website copy, landing pages, and service pages.
• Produce SEO-driven blogs, articles, and thought-leadership content.
• Structure content for answer engines, featured snippets, and People Also Ask results.
• Create content for visibility and citation in ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and AI Overviews.
• Write and edit research papers, whitepapers, and case studies with proper citations.
• Draft, ghostwrite, or edit books and long-form manuscripts.
• Produce academic writing using Harvard, APA, MLA, or Chicago standards.
• Create annual reports, press releases, executive communications, company profiles, and internal communications.
• Conduct keyword, intent, and competitor research.
• Fact-check, proofread, and maintain brand voice.
• Track content performance and refresh content based on rankings, traffic, and AI citations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in English, journalism, communications, or a related field with 4-7 years of experience.
• Portfolio covering at least three of the listed content types.
• Strong knowledge of on-page SEO, E-E-A-T, schema markup basics, and entity-based optimization.
• Working knowledge of AEO/GEO, conversational query structure, concise answer formatting, FAQs, and source-worthy content.
• Excellent research, referencing, and editing skills.
• Ability to adapt tone from academic to corporate to conversational content.
• Comfort using AI tools responsibly with human review and originality checks such as Grammarly or Turnitin.

Preferred

• Published books, journal articles, or websites.
• Experience in a specialized niche such as technology, finance, healthcare, or education.
• Analytical thinking, attention to detail, deadline discipline, ethical writing, and openness to feedback.

Compensation

• The stated pay is AED 2,500 to AED 4,000 per month.
• Additional benefits are provided according to UAE law.

Workplace

• The work location is in person.
