Role Description

The Vendor Management Manager role at الأخبار الصحية | MOHNWES is a part-time, hybrid position based in Dubai, with a combination of on-site and work-from-home responsibilities.

The role involves managing the full vendor lifecycle, including sourcing, evaluation, onboarding, and ongoing relationship management for service providers and suppliers.

The Vendor Management Manager will oversee contract negotiations, monitor vendor performance against agreed service levels, and ensure compliance with organizational standards and relevant regulations.

Day-to-day tasks include analyzing vendor costs and quality, collaborating with internal teams to understand requirements, managing procurement activities, and maintaining accurate documentation and reports.

The individual in this role will also identify opportunities to optimize vendor portfolios, reduce risk, and improve value for the organization’s operations and projects.

Qualifications

  • Strong Analytical Skills to assess vendor performance, costs, risks, and value.
  • Demonstrated experience in Contract Negotiation to secure favorable terms and conditions with vendors.
  • Excellent Communication skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors in a clear, professional, and respectful manner.
  • Hands-on experience in Procurement to manage sourcing, selection, and purchasing processes.
  • Proficiency in Contract Management, including drafting, reviewing, and overseeing contract execution and compliance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in vendor management within media, healthcare, or public sector environments is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams, prioritizing tasks in a part-time, hybrid setting.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple vendors and deadlines.
  • Comfort with using digital tools and vendor management or procurement systems to track contracts and performance metrics.
