About This Role
Overview
- Prepare, review, and submit timely and accurate VAT returns.
- Ensure compliance with Qatar’s VAT regulations and GCC VAT framework.
- Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for all VAT-related transactions.
- Monitor VAT payments, refunds, and reconciliations.
- Provide internal advisory on VAT implications of business activities, contracts, and transactions.
- Interpret VAT legislation and update management on regulatory changes.
- Evaluate VAT exposure and propose mitigation strategies.
- Develop and implement VAT control frameworks and procedures.
- Ensure VAT mapping accuracy within ERP systems.
- Work with Finance, Procurement, and Legal teams to improve VAT accuracy in operations.
- Conduct VAT awareness sessions for internal teams.
- Support procurement and sales teams on tax classification and VAT coding.
- Ensure all departments adhere to VAT guidelines and documentation standards.
- Pay: QAR10,000.00 - QAR13,000.00 per month
Education
- Bachelor's (Required)
Experience
- VAT or indirect taxation : 2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification
- CPA, ACCA, CMA, CTA, or GCC VAT Diploma. (Required)
