Valuations & Modeling Manager (Power & Utilities Sector) - Riyadh/MENA

Opportunity

Client and transaction work

• Help clients identify and quantify sources of value creation.
• Advise on valuations for acquisitions, divestitures, and restructuring; provide fairness opinions on transactions and restructurings.
• Work with management during acquisitions to understand accounting implications of acquired intangible and financial assets.
• Provide fair value opinions for financial reporting purposes.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or engineering and at least 6 years of relevant work experience.
• Proven problem-solving and project delivery record, with client relationship experience in infrastructure businesses.
• Experience reporting to senior colleagues and handling valuation, capital allocation, and portfolio optimization.
• Strong financial modelling skills, including project finance models.
• Broad knowledge of accounting principles and IFRS, including fair value measurement, business combinations, and impairment testing.

Additional advantages

• Professional-services or Big Four valuation and/or financial modelling experience is an advantage.
• Experience coaching junior and senior staff is an advantage.
• Power & Utilities and/or other infrastructure sector experience is an advantage.
• CFA achievement or significant progress toward the qualification is an advantage.
