- Role description:
- Quantity surveying and commercial management best practice with sound understanding of construction contracts and contract administration procedures
- work in a fast-paced environment to independently produce consistent quality deliverables that demonstrate comprehensive understanding of construction risk and analytical thought
- Managing tending process and overseeing external consultants and valuers engaged by the bank
- Proactively monitoring risks associated with the financed projects, coordinating with CCU and CRE team pre and post sanction
- Conduct real estate valuation and reviewing external valuers’ reports
- Reviewing feasibility studies and contractors’ profiles for performance capability.
Key requirements
- Degree in civil engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in relevant roles, with quantity surveying, contract administration, and commercial management roles.
- Knowledge in QCS and Qatar authorities’ requirements.
- Knowledge in Qatar construction market.
- Understanding of banking industry and lender’s perspective in project financing and project management.
- Understanding real estate valuation
- Ability to manage portfolio of 20+ projects, fast paced yet delicate reporting
Additional: ( Optional)
- Master’s degree in relevant field
- Similar banking experience
- UPDA grade A engineer in Qatar
- MRICS
- English and Arabic speaker
