Role overview
Seeking an experienced, certified Business Valuation Analyst to independently complete private business valuations from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Manage business valuation engagements end to end.
- Review financial statements, tax returns, and supporting documentation.
- Perform financial analysis and apply appropriate business valuation methodologies.
- Prepare complete, professional business valuation reports.
- Deliver final reports and address client questions.
Requirements
- Active valuation certification required: CVA, ABV, or ASA.
- Proven experience valuing privately held businesses.
- Ability to independently complete valuations from initial document requests through final report delivery.
- Strong financial modeling, Excel, and report-writing skills.
- Experience with SBA business acquisition valuations preferred.
Work arrangement
- Remote, project-based work with flexible hours.
Compensation
- Compensation is based on experience and project scope.
- Pay is $40–$125 per hour.
