Responsibilities

  • Provides help desk style support via Zoom
  • Provides customer service and assists users with specialized software.
  • Creates reports, documents and how-to articles.
  • Notifies appropriate technical groups of errors or equipment malfunctions requiring more advanced troubleshooting and analysis.
  • Provide technical support for faculty and staff
  • Monitor and troubleshoot classroom and AV technology
  • Process IT inventory
  • Deploy and setup IT equipment
  • Other projects as assigned

Preferences

  • Experience with AV equipment and video conferencing
  • Experience with telephone customer service (e.g. information services, help desk, customer support).
  • Windows 10/11 and Mac OS experience
  • Interpersonal communication and troubleshooting skills
