Position summary
Utility Cleaners support cleaning needs across hotel functions such as kitchen, food and beverage, and laundry.
Key duties
- Prepare fresh clean linen and spotless dining ware for guests.
- Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, hand-wash stations, linen washers and dryers.
- Transport dishware and linens across the hotel.
- Follow company policies and procedures, uphold quality standards, and help maintain a safe workplace.
- Maintain positive working relationships, support team goals and respond appropriately to coworkers’ concerns.
- Report accidents, injuries and unsafe conditions to a manager; perform other reasonable duties as requested.
Physical requirements and experience
- No related work experience, high school diploma or GED, supervisory experience, or license/certification is required.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Stand, sit or walk for extended periods; reach overhead and below the knees, bend, twist, pull and stoop.
Work arrangement
- Full-time, non-management hotel position located in Dubai; the posting states it is not remote.
