Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site Utilities Manager role based in Dubai with Watan Raqmy – وطن رقمي.
The Utilities Manager will oversee day-to-day utilities operations, including monitoring energy and water consumption, coordinating with service providers, and ensuring reliable supply to all facilities.
The role includes planning and supervising maintenance activities related to utilities infrastructure, collaborating with facility management teams, and supporting sustainability and cost-optimization initiatives.
The Utilities Manager will track performance metrics, prepare regular reports, assist with budgeting for utilities and related projects, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Utilities operations, including energy and water systems, with experience managing service providers and utility contracts.
- Proficiency in Facility Management (FM) practices, coordinating with maintenance teams, and understanding building systems and infrastructure.
- Solid Analytical Skills for monitoring consumption data, identifying trends, diagnosing issues, and recommending efficiency improvements.
- Experience with Budgeting for utilities and facility-related expenses, including forecasting, cost control, and variance analysis.
- Familiarity with Wastewater Treatment processes, standards, and compliance requirements is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Environmental Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Working knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and manage external stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a part-time, on-site environment.
