We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive professional to join our Abu Dhabi, UAE office as a
Wet Utilities Manager – Design
.
In this role, you will lead the design and delivery of complex, multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects across the GCC.
You will be instrumental in planning, designing, and managing wet utilities systems, including water supply, sewerage, stormwater, irrigation, firefighting networks, sewage collection systems, pumping stations, and reservoirs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the design and delivery of large-scale, multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects
- Provide technical direction and guidance to design teams across wet utilities disciplines
- Support and contribute to winning proposals and bids with a clear focus on client requirements and project success
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring repeat business and identifying new opportunities
- Monitor project performance, ensuring delivery aligns with scope, budget, and timelines
- Champion and promote a strong Health & Safety culture across all projects
- Deliver high-quality technical solutions and ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices
- Oversee design development, budgeting, and project execution from tender through to completion
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes
- Enhance professional presence and networking with clients and industry partners
About You
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, with SCE registration
- 10–15 years of experience in wet utilities design and infrastructure projects, preferably within the GCC
- Currently based in the UAE with strong knowledge of regional regulations and standards
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Strong technical writing and reporting capabilities
- Proficiency in relevant software such as ArcGIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, InfoWorks, SWMM, Storm/Sewer/WaterCAD, and Revit/BIM is an advantage
- Demonstrated commitment to core competencies including Client Service, Quality, Innovation, Teamwork, and Continuous Improvement
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data
- Ability to manage documentation and utilize engineering tools effectively
- Willingness to visit project sites when required
