Job Summary
The Upholstery Plaster is responsible for repairing, installing, and maintaining upholstery in vehicles.
This role involves working with various materials to repair or replace seats, headliners, carpets, door panels, and other interior components of automobiles.
The technician must have strong attention to detail and craftsmanship to ensure high-quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply adhesive and upholstery materials to vehicle seats, door panels, roofs, dashboards, and other interior components.
- Measure, cut, and prepare upholstery materials according to specifications.
- Install and secure foam, fabric, leather, vinyl, and other covering materials.
- Ensure smooth, wrinkle-free, and professional finishing of upholstery work.
- Repair damaged upholstery and replace worn materials when required.
- Operate hand tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
- Follow safety procedures and company quality standards.
- Inspect completed work to ensure customer satisfaction and quality compliance.
- Assist with other upholstery and interior restoration tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Experience in upholstery, trimming, or vehicle interior work preferred.
- Knowledge of upholstery materials, adhesives, and installation techniques.
- Ability to use cutting tools, staplers, glue guns, and related equipment.
- Good attention to detail and workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical fitness to handle manual work and prolonged standing.
Working Conditions
- Workshop or automotive service environment.
- May require lifting materials and working with adhesives and upholstery equipment.

Education
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience
- Upholstery Technician: 1 year (Preferred)
