Upholstery Cleaner

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect upholstery material (fabric, leather, suede, etc.) before cleaning.
• Identify stains and choose the correct cleaning method.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as:
• Upholstery extraction machine
• Steam cleaner
• Perform shampooing, steam cleaning, and stain removal.
• Apply appropriate chemicals and ensure safe usage.
• Dry and groom upholstery after cleaning.
• Protect furniture and surrounding areas before starting the job.
• Ensure cleanliness of the work area after job completion.
• Report any damage or issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain and clean equipment after use.

Requirements

• Experience in upholstery cleaning or general cleaning (preferred).
• Knowledge of different fabric types and cleaning techniques.
• Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely.
• Physically fit and able to lift/move furniture if needed.
• Attention to detail and quality work.
