Underwriting Supervisor

What You'll Do

• Lead and develop an assigned credit risk operations team, which may include risk investigations, underwriting, triage, merchant review, or related workflows. Oversee daily workload, queue management, service levels, quality standards, and business objectives to ensure timely and accurate risk decisions. Coach and mentor team members, providing performance feedback, decisioning guidance, and support for career growth and development. Review escalated cases and complex risk scenarios, helping teams apply policies, procedures, and sound judgment to support consistent outcomes. Analyze operational and risk performance trends, identify root causes, and implement solutions that improve quality, efficiency, and control effectiveness. Partner with internal stakeholders across credit risk, operations, sales, compliance, and product teams to resolve issues, optimize processes, and support strategic initiatives. Maintain a strong focus on risk management, regulatory compliance, policy adherence, and operational excellence.
