We are currently seeking
experienced insurance professionals
for the role of
Underwriting Manager
on behalf of a well-established client in the insurance sector.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily underwriting operations and ensure adherence to company manuals, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Review, approve, and guide underwriting decisions for various risk grades.
- Provide technical guidance, coaching, and development for junior underwriters.
- Coordinate with actuarial, risk management, claims, and reinsurance teams to maintain portfolio quality and profitability.
- Monitor portfolio performance, loss ratios, and risk exposures.
- Ensure timely issuance of quotations, policies, renewals, and endorsements within SLAs.
- Support the development and enhancement of underwriting standards and processes.
- Attend meetings with brokers, corporate clients, and intermediaries as required.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements (SAMA, IFRS17).
Qualifications
- **Supervisor:**
- 4–7 years of underwriting experience in General Insurance.
- **Manager:**
- 7+ years of underwriting experience with prior team management experience.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Actuarial Science, Finance, or related field.
- CII (Cert CII / Dip CII) or IFCE certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
