UI/UX Designer

Role overview

Expectations and collaboration

• Communicate with clients, explain UX decisions, and collaborate with the project team.
• Apply knowledge of current technologies, design trends, and research while innovating on digital platforms.
• Work in a participatory, team-based environment and continue developing personal and team skills.
• Coordinate with visual designers, front-end developers, UX strategists, and other team members.

Design focus and tools

• Experience with banking, FinTech, insurance, WealthTech, or other BFSI products is a preferred fit.
• Understand design systems and scalable product ecosystems; bring a problem-solving, user-centric design mindset.
• Use AI tools such as Figma Make, Lovable, Claude, or other generative AI platforms to accelerate ideation and prototyping.
• Advanced software skills, including Adobe Suite and Figma, are required.
• Knowledge of platform guidelines and front-end frameworks is desirable.

Qualifications

• A degree in an HCI-related discipline such as UI design, UX design, interaction design, or information design is one listed qualification route.
• Industrial design candidates may qualify with a portfolio demonstrating an inclination toward UX design.
• Graphic design or applied arts candidates may qualify with demonstrable UX knowledge.
• Spoken and written English proficiency is essential.
• FinTech and BFSI project experience is preferred.

Deliverables

• Deliver project outputs on time and to the quality defined by the Lead UI/UX Designer.
• Possible deliverables include usability audits, research, wireframes, navigation structures, storyboards, interactive guidelines, and click-through prototypes.
• Present information architecture in flow diagrams.

Ongoing responsibilities

• Execute work defined by the Lead UX Designer and communicate with team members and, in relevant cases, client representatives.
• Keep up with industry developments and document design processes for projects worked on directly or by other team members.
• Question and negotiate UX strategies with the UX Lead, follow delivery schedules, and seek clarification when needed.

Work location and travel

• Work location is in person.
• The candidate must be willing to travel for on-site project execution and be open to temporary or permanent relocation within Think Design studios in India.

Pay

• Pay is AED 4,000 to AED 14,000 per month.
