Role Overview

Job Duties

• Responsible for maintaining, setting up, testing, and operating equipment at the customer location and field camp.
• Mentors and trains lower level Service Operators and Operator Assistants in areas of expertise.
• Monitors instruments and performs necessary calculations to ensure quality of data at the well.
• Consults with customers concerning services and products, promotes good customer relations, and ensures customer satisfaction.
• Properly maintains equipment and completes all job documentation.
• Conducts pre-job toolbox safety meetings, reviews and verifies job plan with customer representative, and manages any changes required.
• Reviews information from Business Development to confirm best practices and that proposed job plans meet customer expectations efficiently.
• Communicates with other PSLs and third parties to ensure tool and well site activity compatibility.

Qualifications

• Excellent leadership and communication skills are required.
• Good mathematical acumen is required.
• Good reading comprehension and writing skills are required.
• Skills acquired through completion of high school diploma and 9+ years experience in oil field drilling activities including 5+ years of underbalanced drilling and/or managed pressure drilling.
• Must have met the minimum competency requirements for Svc Spec III-GBA.
