We are currently seeking an experienced Director of Legal Affairs Department to join a prestigious government entity in Dubai.
Requirements
Minimum 15 years of legal experience.
At least 10 years in a senior managerial/leadership role.
Extensive experience in legal advisory, governance, regulatory compliance, contracts, and risk management.
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent knowledge of UAE laws, regulations, and government procedures.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
UAE experience is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Legal Affairs Department.
Provide strategic legal advice to executive management.
Oversee legal compliance, governance, and risk mitigation initiatives.
Review and negotiate complex contracts and agreements.
Represent the organization on legal matters and coordinate with external legal counsel when required.
