TTI Assistant Research Scientist

Preferred Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other related field.
• Experience in GIS analysis using tools such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or GIS-related packages in R or Python.
• Experience in big data analytics, including processing, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets.
• Knowledge and application of statistical modeling and machine learning methods using statistical software and/or programming languages such as R and Python.
• Experience in transportation modeling, including applying and interpreting results from tools such as Synchro/SimTraffic, VISSIM, TransModeler, or similar packages.
• Physical Requirements
• Ability to perform common office functions.
• Ability to frequently communicate with other individuals within the workplace.
• Ability to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
