We are hiring an experienced Truck Fleet Manager / Fleet Operations Manager
for a client in the UAE.
The candidate must have strong hands-on experience managing truck fleets / heavy commercial vehicle fleets.
Candidates with additional experience in
EV fleet operations
, especially
electric trucks or electric commercial vehicles
, will be preferred.
Position: Truck Fleet Manager – Heavy Commercial Vehicles
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of truck / heavy commercial vehicle fleets.
- Monitor vehicle utilization, availability, downtime and operational performance.
- Coordinate with drivers, workshop teams, maintenance teams and operations teams.
- Handle preventive maintenance, breakdowns, vehicle readiness and repair follow-ups.
- Track fleet operating costs including fuel, charging, repair, tyres and maintenance.
- Ensure safety, compliance, documentation, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage driver allocation, route coordination and operational escalations.
- Improve vehicle productivity, turnaround time, cost efficiency and fleet performance.
- Prepare fleet reports, MIS and operational updates for management.
Mandatory Requirements
- **Proven experience in managing truck fleets / heavy commercial vehicle fleets**

- Experience with trucks, trailers, delivery trucks, heavy vehicles, logistics fleet or cargo fleet.
- Strong knowledge of fleet operations, vehicle maintenance, breakdown control and compliance.
- Experience coordinating with drivers, supervisors, workshop and maintenance teams.
- Ability to control downtime, improve utilization and manage fleet operating costs.
- Strong reporting, problem-solving and operational management skills.
