Role Purpose
To assist in the execution of treasury operations including payment processing, cash monitoring, and bank reconciliations.
The Treasury Officer supports the team in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely treasury transactions.
Key Accountabilities
Daily Cash Operations Monitor and record daily ca sh movements across company bank accounts.
Process treasury payments accurately and in accordance with authorisation limits.
Bank Reconciliations Prepare bank reconciliations and investigate unreconciled items.
Maintain accurate records of all treasury transactions.
Reporting Support Assist in preparing cash flow reports and liquidity summaries.
Compile data for treasury management reports.
Banking Administration Handle routine bank correspondence and queries.
Maintain updated records of bank accounts, signatories, and facilities.
Compliance Ensure all transactions comply with company treasury policies and approval workflows.
Support the team during audits by providing required documentation.
Innovation & Value Creation Introduce modern tools, technologies and processes that improve efficiency and transparency.
Encourage innovative thinking to enhance outcomes and reduce costs without compromising quality.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting Minimum 2-3 years of treasury or accounting experience Knowledge of banking procedures and treasury fundamentals Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
