Role overview
Reports to the Senior Manager, Treasury.
Responsible for liquidity planning, cash management, cash flow forecasting, and cash optimization initiatives.
Focuses on developing scalable processes to support company growth.
Treasury responsibilities
- Maintain short- and long-term cash flow forecasting models across select portfolios and provide cash visibility to senior leadership.
- Monitor cash balances and transactions, identify cash requirements, and coordinate credit facility access to prevent overdrafts and pay obligations on time.
- Prepare, review, and execute wires, EFTs, ACH payments, and other controlled treasury transactions.
- Support bank account openings and closings, review signing authorities, and assist with the annual audit.
- Manage debt and credit facilities, including drawdowns, repayments, rollovers, and letters of credit.
- Resolve account, payment, and cash management issues with banking partners.
- Analyze aging invoices with Accounts Payable to determine payments and verify cash impacts across portfolios.
- Support stabilization of the Kyriba treasury management system.
- Build working relationships with Finance, Investments, and Asset Management.
- Identify and implement treasury process and reporting improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Mathematics, or Business Administration.
- CPA/CFA designation, or experience demonstrating a sound understanding of finance and treasury.
- At least 1 year of experience in Finance, Treasury, or relevant consulting.
- Experience working with Yardi and/or Kyriba.
- Excellent proficiency in financial modeling and Excel.
- Understanding of payments, liquidity, and risk management.
- Prior Real Estate experience is an asset but is not required.
- Programming experience is an asset.
