Treasury Analyst

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage FX risks through hedging within approved mandates and limits; coordinate transaction execution and settlement with banks and maintain controls and audit trails.
• Handle treasury compliance, KYC, bank mandates, and bank account opening and closing.
• Provide operational support and holiday cover, including monthly treasury reporting and accounting.
• Manage daily cash positions, maintain liquidity, and optimize cash where possible.
• Execute deposit and money market fund trades in line with pre-approved strategy.
• Maintain treasury and banking platforms and contribute to projects, automation, and process improvement.

Required skills and experience

• Professional accounting qualification: ACCA, ACA, or CIMA; degree-level education or equivalent experience.
• Strong numeracy, financial accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to work under time pressure.
• Able to learn multiple software platforms; strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Able to interpret complex data into meaningful insight and reporting, and build relationships with internal colleagues and external partners.
• Motivated to improve processes and develop professionally.

Additional skills

• AI experience is welcomed.
• A treasury qualification such as AMCT, or willingness to work toward one, is advantageous.
