Your Responsibilities
- As a Treasury Accountant for JD Financial t he preferred location for this role is onsite in Johnston, IA . Candidates based in Moline, IL may also be considered at the hiring manager's discretion
- Perform treasury accounting activities for the U.S. and Canada, including month-end close, account reconciliations, and preparation of disclosures for regulatory and SEC filings.
- Monitor and analyze daily cash activity and funding transactions.
- Develop interest expense forecasts for the U.S. and Canada.
- Serve as subject matter expert and partner with Corporate Treasury and other stakeholders on funding initiatives and special projects.
- Identify and implement process improvements, including automation.

What Skills You Need
- 3 or more years of accounting experience
- Strong understanding of US GAAP (US Generally Accepted Accounting Prinicples)
- Excellent communication skills, with strong attention to detail
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet reporting deadlines
- Demonstrated track record of process improvement and automation in accounting workflows

Education
Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
