Treasury Accountant

About This Role

Hays is partnering with a growing FMCG distribution company in Saudi Arabia that is looking to appoint a Treasury Accountant to support and strengthen its finance function.

Role Overview

The Treasury Accountant is responsible for managing the company’s daily cash operations, monitoring liquidity, and supporting financial risk management activities. This role ensures accurate cash reporting, timely payments, and compliance with internal controls and banking requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor daily cash balances and prepare cash flow forecasts
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Process and track payments, receipts, and fund transfers
• Maintain relationships with banks and manage bank accounts
• Support debt management, including loan schedules and interest payments
• Assist in managing foreign exchange and interest rate risks
• Record and reconcile treasury transactions in the accounting system
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and financial regulations
• Prepare treasury reports for management review

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in treasury or accounting
• SOCPA is a must
• Strong understanding of cash management and banking processes
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting/ERP systems
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
