About the Role
Lead enrichment classes for children ages 2–8 in martial arts, movement, coding, robotics, or STEM programs.
Classes take place on-site at partner schools, childcare centers, and community locations in Oak Brook and surrounding areas.
The position is mobile and traveling, with paid training, lesson plans, equipment, and ongoing support provided.
Responsibilities
- Lead 30–45-minute enrichment classes for small groups of children.
- Teach age-appropriate lessons using provided curriculum and equipment.
- Create a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment.
- Build connections with children, teachers, and school staff.
- Represent Inspired Kids Programs professionally at partner locations.
Requirements
- Love working with young children.
- Be confident, energetic, and dependable.
- Be comfortable leading groups and giving clear instructions.
- Have a reliable vehicle, driving licence, and auto insurance.
- Be able to pass a background check.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Schedule and Pay
- Part-time weekday hours are typically 8:30 a.m.–12 p.m. and 2:30–5 p.m.
- A consistent weekly schedule is provided once placed.
- Pay is $25–$40 per hour, with paid training and opportunities to teach multiple classes.
- The position is not seasonal.
