Role Description
This is a full-time Hybrid role for a Travel Sales Consultant based in the Doha Metropolitan Area, with a mix of on-site and work-from-home days.
The Travel Sales Consultant will advise clients on travel options, create customized itineraries, and manage end-to-end travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, and ground transportation.
This role includes handling inquiries, providing prompt and accurate information, and managing reservations and changes.
The consultant will proactively identify sales opportunities, recommend value-adding services, and meet or exceed sales and customer satisfaction targets.
Daily tasks also include using travel booking systems, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with team members to improve service quality and processes.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Travel Consulting and Travel Management, including advising clients and planning complete trips.
- Hands-on experience with Travel Arrangements and Reservations, such as booking flights, hotels, and transportation using relevant tools or GDS platforms.
- Proven Customer Service skills, with the ability to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and build long-term client relationships.
- Excellent communication and sales skills, with the ability to understand traveler needs and present suitable travel solutions.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple bookings and deadlines.
- Comfort with digital tools and booking systems; experience in the travel or hospitality industry is an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment in the Doha Metropolitan Area, collaborating with a diverse team.
- Relevant education or certifications in tourism, hospitality, or a related field are preferred but not mandatory with strong experience.
