Role overview
The Travel Coordinator supports the sales team and handles day-to-day travel operations in a travel and tour business.
The role covers bookings, supplier coordination, client communication, and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate bookings for flights, hotels, tours, transfers, and visas.
- Confirm itineraries and answer client queries by phone, email, and WhatsApp.
- Liaise with hotels, transport providers, and other suppliers.
- Prepare quotations, vouchers, and travel documents.
- Maintain accurate booking records and follow up on client payments.
- Support sales-team client follow-ups and ad hoc tasks.
- Ensure bookings comply with company policies and supplier terms.
- Handle changes, cancellations, and amendments efficiently.
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or equivalent.
- At least one year of experience in travel, tourism, or hospitality.
- Knowledge of GDS or online booking systems is an advantage.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office and email; good written and verbal English communication skills.
- Additional languages are a plus.
- Strong organization and multitasking, attention to detail, customer focus, and ability to work under deadlines.
- Currently in the UAE with a valid or transferable visa is preferred.
