Orient Freight Solutions (OFS) is looking for an experienced **Transportation Manager / Transportation Supervisor** to manage and supervise our transportation operations.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in the logistics and freight forwarding industry, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to manage drivers, vehicles, customers, and daily transport activities.
The candidate must be fluent in **Arabic & English** and have practical experience in transportation, logistics, or freight operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise daily transportation operations, including local deliveries, pickups, and shipments.
- Coordinate with customers, operations teams, drivers, and logistics partners to ensure smooth transportation services.
- Plan and assign delivery schedules and optimize routes to improve efficiency.
- Monitor drivers' performance, attendance, and compliance with company procedures.
- Ensure shipments are delivered on time and according to customer requirements.
- Handle transportation documents, delivery orders, PODs, and reports.
- Coordinate with freight forwarding, warehouse, and customs clearance teams.
- Manage vehicle schedules, maintenance follow-up, and transportation resources.
- Solve operational issues and provide quick solutions.
- Prepare daily/weekly transportation reports and performance updates.
- Ensure compliance with UAE transport regulations and company policies.
Requirements
- Minimum **3–5 years of experience** in transportation/logistics operations.
- Experience in a freight forwarding or logistics company is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of UAE transportation operations and delivery processes.
- Experience managing drivers, fleets, and transport activities.
- Good knowledge of logistics documents and shipment procedures.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Good computer skills (MS Office, Excel, and logistics systems).
Language Requirements
- **Arabic: Fluent (Required)**
- **English: Fluent (Required)**
Preferred Skills
- Experience in freight forwarding, courier, land transport, or warehouse operations.
- Knowledge of UAE roads, delivery areas, and customer handling.
- Experience with ERP / logistics software (Odoo knowledge is an advantage).
