Transport Support Operator

Life in this role As part of our, Chilled & Fresh division, we have an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Transport Support Operator. Salary: £27,119 per annum, plus £1,000 attendance bonus. Shift: 4 on 4 off nights, 6pm-6am. Key Duties of a Transport Support Operator:

• Correctly debriefing drivers.
• Checking all timesheets for correct completion and ensuring all PODs are returned completed correctly.
• Scanning and storing PODs using Culina’s document management system.
• Preparing drivers’ wallets and issuing delivery notes in drop sequence plus any other relevant delivery information.
• Printing all despatch notes and replenishing despatch paper as required.
• Answering the telephone and assisting with any enquiries.
• Downloading drivers’ cards / tachographs.
• Ensuring all estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) are communicated to Customer Services.
• Consistently updating all spreadsheets including, but not limited to; change-overs, run summaries and trailer check sheets.
• Departing loads using Transport Management System (TMS).
• Ensuring all uplifts are despatched in correct loads. What you’ll need...

• Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
• Effectively prioritise work load in order to meet set deadlines.
