Transport Operations Support

Life in this role As part of our Chilled & Fresh division, we have an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Transport Shift Manager Salary: £27,119.42 Shift: 4 on 4 off nights, 6pm - 6am Reporting into the Transport Shift Manager, the Transport Operations Support will provide general administration support to the Transport Department. Key Duties of Transport Operations Support:

• Correctly debriefing drivers
• Checking all timesheets for correct completion and ensuring all PODs are returned completed correctly
• Scanning and storing PODs using Culina’s document management system
• Preparing drivers’ wallets and issuing delivery notes in drop sequence plus any other relevant delivery information
• Printing all despatch notes and replenishing despatch paper as required
• Answering the telephone and assisting with any enquiries
• Downloading drivers’ cards / tachographs
• Ensuring all estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) are communicated to Customer Services
• Consistently updating all spreadsheets including, but not limited to; change-overs, run summaries and trailer check sheets
• Departing loads using Transport Management System (TMS)
• Ensuring all uplifts are despatched in correct loads What you’ll need...
