Transport Clerk

Here at GXO Dartford , we’re currently recruiting for a Transport Clerk to join our night shift team , supporting our customer, Sainsbury’s .

This is a full-time, permanent position, working on an a rota basis - 4 days on - 4 days off, covering the hours of 18:00 to 06:00 .

Coordinate daily delivery schedules and communicate updates with drivers, depot teams and customers

Provide excellent customer service by handling delivery queries, resolving issues, and supporting a positive customer journey

Monitor transport and delivery performance, including on-time deliveries, failed drops and KPI reporting

Investigate delivery issues, identify process improvements, and support corrective actions to reduce service failures

Maintain accurate administrative records, compliance documentation, report, and transport- related system updates

Previous experience in transport / warehouse administration or customer service environments would be advantageous

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with drivers, customers, and colleagues

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and remain calm under pressure

Confident using Microsoft Office and transport/ logistics systems to manage data and reporting
