About This Role
• Translation & Quality Control
- Translating complex consulting documents (reports, presentations, proposals) between English and Arabic, ensuring accuracy, style, and tone are maintained.
- Workflow Management:
- Coordinating in-house and outsourced translation projects, acting as a liaison between teams.
- Vendor Management:
- Managing external translators and vendors, managing vendor contracts, and overseeing billing.
• End-to-End Project Management
- Leading the launch, maintenance, and finalisation of ongoing and long-term translation projects, including understanding client preferences and stylistic requirements, developing and maintaining glossaries, and overseeing the full translation lifecycle from scoping to final delivery, documentation, and archiving.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Managing and coordinating with internal stakeholders across teams, ensuring alignment on priorities, timelines, and deliverables, and acting as a central point of contact to facilitate clear communication and efficient project execution.
- Tool Utilisation:
- Using CAT tools (Computer-Assisted Translation), translation management systems, and AI-driven solutions to enhance efficiency.
• Subject Matter Expertise
Localising materials for the Middle East market, ensuring cultural and professional relevance in the consulting context.
