- Train on Medical/Dental Coding (ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, CDT).
- Teach terminology, anatomy, and coding guidelines.
- Prepare lesson plans and coding exercises.
- Train on real-world coding cases and insurance claims.
- Guide certification exam preparation.
- Assess performance and maintain records.
- Stay updated on coding guidelines.
- Ensure a professional training environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Preferred certifications: CPC, CCS, CIC, CPB, or equivalent.
- Experience in medical/dental coding.
- Strong knowledge of coding standards.
- Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with billing software and EHR.
- Knowledge of insurance guidelines.
- Strong mentoring skills.
