Overview
The Training Specialist supports the design, development, and implementation of training programs that promote workforce proficiency and compliance with organizational and contractual requirements.
The position is primarily responsible for curriculum and training material development, including lesson plans, instructional media, and assessment tools, ensuring alignment with approved standards and procedures.
Duties
also include maintaining training documentation, assisting with instructor evaluations, and supporting continuous improvement of instructional content and delivery methods.
In addition to development responsibilities, the Training Specialist performs coordination and facilitation tasks consistent with Training Coordinator functions.
This includes planning and scheduling training events, preparing required materials and equipment, maintaining attendance and qualification records, and conducting or assisting with training sessions as assigned.
The position collaborates with instructors, subject matter experts, and supervisory personnel to ensure training activities are well organized, properly documented, and effective in meeting performance and regulatory objectives.
