Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Transformer Design Manager / Engineer with expertise in designing oil-filled distribution transformers up to 4 MVA, 11kV/433V, 50Hz.
The successful candidate will play a key role in product design, optimization, and new product development.
Key Responsibilities
- Design transformer active parts including core and winding assemblies.
- Design transformer tanks, radiators, conservators, and accessories.
- Prepare detailed engineering calculations, drawings, and BOMs.
- Ensure compliance with IEC 60076 and international standards.
- Coordinate with production and quality teams throughout manufacturing.
- Support testing, commissioning, and customer technical requirements.
- Drive design improvements and cost optimization initiatives.
& Experience
✔ Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
✔ Minimum 10 years of transformer design experience.
✔ Proven experience designing transformers up to 4 MVA.
✔ Strong knowledge of transformer design software and manufacturing processes.
Compensation
💰 QAR 13,000 – 15,000 per month (Based on qualifications and experience)
