Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and grow the trading support team, setting standards for performance, professional development, and scalable ways of working
  • Ensure the team is organized and equipped to maintain system uptime, capacity, and performance under high-load and high-volatility market conditions
  • Drive continuous improvement and assess the team's tools, workflows, and operational processes
  • Oversee support for proprietary trading systems, ensuring critical production issues are diagnosed and resolved, and incident tracking and reporting are consistently maintained
  • Design performance metrics and dashboards that correlate system performance with trading outcomes, guiding the team's approach to alerting and automation
  • Prepare the team's structure, staffing, and processes to scale alongside growing trading systems and volumes
  • Ensure the skills, ways of working and toolset transition towards a global way of working including follow-the-sun support and unified processes

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent field of study
  • 3 or more years' experience leading technical support, production engineering, or related teams
  • Ability to communicate clearly with both traders and developers and to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Working knowledge of scripting and automation (e.g. Python, Shell) and version control systems such as Git
  • Working understanding of Linux OS
  • Experience with trading systems and US exchange protocols is a plus
  • Experience with C++ or Rust is a plus
  • Previous experience in a financial or trading environment is a plus
