Role overview

Join a newly launched hedge fund building a technology-led trading platform in Abu Dhabi.

Work directly alongside Engineering and Trading in an early-stage environment with significant technology and infrastructure investment.

Own the stability, performance, and reliability of critical production trading systems.

Key areas

Support Linux and Unix production environments.
Manage FIX protocol, exchange connectivity, and market data.
Develop Python and Bash automation.
Handle production monitoring and incident management.
Investigate SQL and database issues.
Troubleshoot TCP/IP, multicast, and network problems.
Perform monitoring, observability, and log analysis.
Interact closely with Engineering and Trading teams.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience supporting trading systems.
Strong background in Linux, FIX, and troubleshooting within an electronic trading environment.
Relocation to Abu Dhabi is available for the right candidate.
