Role overview
WaterLink Trading LLC is hiring a Shipping Coordinator (Scrap Trade) to support international non-ferrous metals trading operations.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate shipments and freight forwarders.
- Manage shipping and trade documentation.
- Track cargo and provide shipment updates.
- Liaise with suppliers, shipping lines, and internal teams.
- Maintain accurate logistics records.
- Support trade operations and improve shipping processes.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of international trade operations, including import/export procedures, documentation, and Incoterms.
- Experience in logistics coordination, shipping arrangements, and working with freight forwarders and shipping lines.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing and reviewing contracts, invoices, and shipping documents.
- Experience in commodities, metals, or scrap trading is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, International Trade, or a related field is preferred.
