TPE IV/Senior Structural Engineer

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Design structural and infrastructure works, including buildings, equipment foundations, and pipe and cable tray supports.
• Originate and revise engineering deliverables; check them against company procedures, standards, and checklists.
• Supervise junior engineers and conduct or receive job-related training.
• Plan work within allocated hours and manage schedules to prevent slippage.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, team members, and other disciplines; incorporate discipline inputs.
• Delegate and distribute work and manage team billability.
• Visit sites, verify conditions, mark up drawings, and perform as-built activities.
• Manage submissions, quality checks, and records; prepare technical reports and presentations.
• Evaluate technical bids, review vendor documents, and manage subcontract scopes.
• Apply Aramco, SABIC, Royal Commission, SBC, and HCIS standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• At least 10 years of oil and gas industry experience with a contractor, operator, or consultancy.
• At least 5 years of onshore structural engineering and design experience.
• Previous experience with SACS and other onshore engineering applications, and FEED and EPC projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MATHCAD, Foundation 3D, STAAD, and STAAD.Pro.
• Familiarity with editing, opening, and reading AutoCAD or MicroStation drawings.
• Professional-level ability applying standards, processes, and procedures, and knowledge of applicable codes and standards.
