About This Role
Overview
The Tower Crane Operator is responsible for safely operating tower cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials on construction sites, especially high-rise projects.
The role includes following lifting plans, ensuring safe load handling, coordinating with riggers and site supervisors, and performing daily equipment checks.
Key responsibilities
- include:
- Operate tower crane as per site requirements and safety standards
- Follow lifting signals and instructions from certified signalmen/riggers
- Inspect crane before and after operation
- Ensure safe lifting, movement, and placement of materials
- Report any faults or safety concerns immediately
- Comply with all HSE regulations and site procedures
Requirements
- Valid tower crane operator license/certification
- Experience in high-rise construction projects preferred
- Strong awareness of safety procedures and communication skills
