Tourism and Travel Reservation Officer
This is a full-time role.
The Tourism and Travel Reservation Officer will be responsible for airline ticket reservations, ticket issuance, reissuance, refunds, fare quotations, and providing outstanding customer service.
The role also involves handling customer inquiries and ensuring a seamless travel experience.
Responsibilities
- Handle airline ticket bookings and reservations
- Issue, reissue, and refund airline tickets
- Process ticket changes, cancellations, and fare recalculations
- Provide accurate, timely, and professional customer support
- Manage customer inquiries related to ticketing and travel services
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high service standards
- Follow up on bookings, confirmations, ticket modifications, and customer requests
- Coordinate with airlines and travel service providers when required
- Ensure compliance with airline policies and fare rules
Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Amadeus GDS (Mandatory)
- Experience with other reservation systems such as Galileo, Sabre, or Travelport is an advantage
- Proven experience in airline ticket issuance, reissuance, and refunds
- Excellent knowledge of airline fare rules and ticketing procedures
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Fluency in Arabic and English is mandatory
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
